on Time
What is time? Time is considered as the 4th dimension:
A dot has no length nor volume; therefore, it is considered 0 dimension.
By extruding a dot, we get a line, which has length; therefore, it is considered as 1 dimensional.
By extruding a line, we get a plane, which has length and height. Hence, it is 2 dimensional.
By extruding a plane, we now have space. Space is what we all see. It has 3 dimensions.
And time is an extrusion of space, but we dont see it.
What is time?
Time is not a substance, nor could we give an absolute measurement of it.
We cannot see time, but we could tell it exists from our memory by comparing changes.
Consider this: From the instance you read the word "From" at the beginning of this sentance to the instance you read the period at the end of this sentance, infinite time could have passed already and you wouldnt noticed it. That is because if some being who transcends time stops the progression of time, we would not notice it because in our memory, time has been continuous. Imagine two parallel worlds in which both worlds are identical in every ways: Million of years could have passed in that other world while we are "paused". When we resume, since nothing was changed in our world, we assumed time never stopped.
It is known that stationary things stays stationary until a force is exerted onto it. We have this ability to move things within the 3-dimensional space. If this rule applies to the 4th dimension as well, then who is doing the moving of time? Whoever that makes time progess must transcend time and space. For something to transcend time, it must be etheral.
